Disputes at Work

Dispute at work can concern changes in contract terms, wages or holiday pay, discrimination, or even the work status of an individual. Walker & Co can provide you with accurate and practical advice including assistance with the issue of a claim should this be appropriate.

Settlement Agreements

These agreements are increasingly used to terminate employment as well as to settle disputes. As the agreement concerns giving up legal rights, they are not valid until the employee has had the terms explained by a qualified advisor.

Unfair Dismissal

Protection from unfair dismissal is a statutory right and such claims are often brought together with other statutory and contractual rights such as claims for unpaid wages, accrued holiday pay and notice pay.

Following the introduction of compulsory conciliation there are even more stages of bringing an Employment Tribunal claim to work through.
